Phuket Sandbox will be reduced to 7 Days, Koh Samui Sandbox with same rules, Travel to Thailand with 7 Days Quarantine

Thailands Government's Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) has decided on Monday to going on with the reopening of Thailand for fully vaccinated international tourists. Thailands cabinet still has to confirm this plan, what should happen this week. So far, international tourists will have the following possibilities from 1st of October:

Travel to Thailand with 7 days of quarantine instead of fourteen days: For fully vaccinated foreign tourists. For vistors, who have not been fully vaccinated 10 days, if they arrive by air and water, 14 days for arrivals by land.

Travel to Thailand by Phuket Sandbox or Koh Samui Sandbox: Fully vaccinated tourists have to stay for 7 days (and no longer 14 days) in a SHA plus hotel on one of these islands. They are tested, when they arrive at the airport. They have to stay in the hotel room until they get their negative test result. Then they can move on the island, where they want to go. But they have to stay in the chosen SHA plus hotel during the night for 7 nights.

If Thailands embassies and consulates are ready, the new rules will be valid from 1st October - or a little bit later. To get the latest news and rules in the next days follow tatnews.org
